When using both services on their own, they are both great tops. However, when combined together, they truly shine! Here are some reasons why I prefer using both tops together for my business.

  • Easy integration of both programs. It’s easy to integrate both basecamp 3 and convertkit into your workflow. You can easily create tasks in basecamp 3 that will email you when they are due. And you can create Basecamp 3 projects in convertkit that you can then email to your entire list. I love how quick and easy it is to do this. It’s also really convenient because you don’t have to log in to two different platforms every time you want to set up a new task or schedule an email to go out. Everything happens within one place. You only need to log in to one platform (either basecamp 3 or convertkit. and from there you can do everything else. Another reason I like this better than Mailchimp is that you no longer have to use Mailchimp’s autoresponder service if you don’t want to. You can just use Basecamp 3 or Convertkit’s autoresponders instead, which is a lot easier in my opinion. So basically, with this integration, you can now use Basecamp 3 as an email autoresponder! This means you don’t have to pay Mailchimp anymore and can save money by moving your autoresponder service over to Basecamp 3 or Convertkit! 2. Easy creation of tasks and projects in either program. In addition to creating tasks and projects in basecamp 3 that automatically send an email when they are due, you can also create tasks and projects in Convertkit that will show up in your basecamp 3 projects list. This makes it easy for you to track your goals and check them off as you complete them. You can also easily add or remove task names from your basecamp 3 tasks list so you know exactly what your next step is for that particular task! 3. The “Add-On” feature for ConvertKit customers. If you sign up for ConvertKit using the link below, I will give you a FREE “add-on” called “Basecamp Sync” for ConvertKit. This is an awesome feature because it lets you merge your ConvertKit contacts with your Basecamp To-Do List! Once you install the add-on for ConvertKit, just fplow the instructions on the page and it will walk you through how to sync your Basecamp To-Do List with ConvertKit! This can be done automatically or manually depending on your preferences. This “Add-On” makes it really simple to manage your customer data and fplow-up with people who have downloaded your content. 4. If you have a large email list, ConvertKit has a high deliverability rate compared to Mailchimp. This may not matter much if you only have a few hundred subscribers but if you have tens of thousands of subscribers, it may be important to keep deliverability rates high. That way, more of your emails actually get delivered and make it into people’s inboxes where they can actually read them and take action! A high deliverability rate also shows Google that your emails are trustworthy which usually leads to higher rankings in search engines (which is something anyone who runs an online business would like. 5. You can use ConvertKit as an autoresponder for all of your marketing emails without paying extra for Mailchimp’s service. As I mentioned before, I hated having to pay extra just to use Mailchimp’s autoresponder service whenever I wanted to create an automated campaign. Now with Basecamp 3 and Convertkit, I no longer have to do that! This saves me a lot of money each year! 6. You can schedule emails out in advance with Basecamp 3 and then those emails will automatically be sent out at the times you specified at a later date (or date range. I love this feature because it makes it really simple for me to create tons of different automated campaigns without having to log into my email account all the time! 7. Both platforms are very affordable and cost less than Mailchimp while offering more features. 8. No ads! Mailchimp displays ads on their website which can be really annoying sometimes! So far, I haven’t noticed any ads in either Basecamp 3 or in Convertkit so I really like that! 9. Content upgrades are easy to set up and send out every time someone subscribes via a pop-up form or link shortener like bitly or googe link shortener! 10. It’s easy to export subscriber data from one top into another top (for example, if you want to move your subscriber list from Mailchimp into Basecamp 3. 11. You can run Facebook ads right from Basecamp 3 and then easily integrate them into your email campaign or blog post! 12. Integrating Convertkit and Basecamp 3 is SO easy that it literally took me less than 10 minutes to set up everything I needed in order to integrate these two programs! 13.
