ConvertKit is a platform for email marketing. It’s a software that allows people to create, send and track emails. With ConvertKit you can create your own forms, embed these forms in your website and then gradually build your list.
Since ConvertKit is mainly about email marketing, it’s really important to have a great looking design. And I think that ConvertKit does a great job in this area. The design is clean and modern.
Another big advantage of ConvertKit is that it’s very easy to use.
What do I mean by this? For example, you can start with the free version of ConvertKit, and then slowly upgrade your account when you need more features.
So, ConvertKit is really great if you want to create a list of subscribers and then send them targeted emails, but what about organizing information? And what about creating landing pages, lead magnets, forms etc.?
That’s where Airtable comes into play.
Airtable is a platform for organizing data. You can create tables that are structured like databases and then you can fill it with any kind of information. lists of contacts, contacts’ details, leads, leads’ details etc.
While ConvertKit is mainly about sending emails, Airtable is focused on managing data. So, Airtable is great if you need to organize your data in a database and then manipulate it.
Airtable enables you to create lists of contacts, accounts or leads and then add multiple fields for each record. For example, you can add multiple addresses to each person in your contact list.
Another advantage of Airtable is that you can import data from many different sources like Excel files, Google Sheets, Basecamp and Dropbox. And you can export data to different formats as well (like Excel.
Because of its flexibility, Airtable is great for creating forms and landing pages as well. So, you can use Airtable to create lead magnets and welcome emails instead of using email marketing platforms like ConvertKit or MailChimp.
You can integrate ConvertKit and Airtable via Zapier. Simply connect both platforms on Zapier and then create a zap that will push new subscribers in Airtable when they sign up for your list in ConvertKit. You can also create a zap that pushes the new subscribers who unsubscribe from your list in ConvertKit into Airtable.
But there’s another way to integrate those two platforms. an integration top called Integromat. This top works like Zapier but it operates slightly differently. In short, Integromat uses some additional connector modules for data integration between ConvertKit and other tops like Salesforce or Slack. Integrating ConvertKit and Airtable has many benefits. As I already mentioned, you can automatically export new subscribers from ConvertKit to Airtable when they join your list. But you can also automatically import new subscribers from Airtable into ConvertKit when they unsubscribe from your list; or if they don’t opt out within a certain period of time; or if they click on a specific link in an email that you sent them to Airtable; etc.
Another benefit of integrating ConvertKit and Airtable is that you can import the users who unsubscribe from your list into Airtable at any moment. And after importing these users into Airtable you can find out why they leave your list and take appropriate actions accordingly. For example, you could ask these people on an exit survey what would make them stay on your list; or give them some discounts if they subscribe again; etc. You can also use these exit surveys to find out why some users never open your emails; or what topics are more interesting for your audience; etc. And after analyzing this information you can improve your content or change your marketing strategy accordingly.
If you want to increase your email list and grow your business, I highly recommend that you integrate ConvertKit and Airtable. Both platforms are very powerful tops for managing data and growing your business!
