One last thing in your outline, don’t worry about the length. It doesn’t have to be a full article in your outline. Just a paragraph or two will do. You can expand it later when you begin the writing process.
Step 3. Outline Writing Process
Now that you have an outline, it’s time to write the actual paper. To do this, you will need to fplow this process:
Step 1. Start with your Introduction Paragraph
This paragraph should summarize the content of the whpe article/paper. Since your outline is already done, this should be easy to do. Just take each point from your outline and write them here. This is the easiest part. So, don’t worry if you aren’t able to write more than just a sentence for this paragraph. It doesn’t have to be long. Just make sure you mention all the points on your outline.
Step 2. Write the first body paragraph
From your outline, pick any point to start with. Then, expand the mini-outline you wrote for this point on your outline into your first body paragraph. This way, you can quickly get started with the first paragraph of your paper without having to worry about how it will turn out. Rest assured that you can always edit, change, or even delete it later.
Step 3. Write the next body paragraph(s)
Now that you know how to start, it should be easier to continue writing your body paragraphs. For each point on your outline, pick one or two points that are most important for this point to support your main idea. Write only about one or two sentences per paragraph. These sentences should describe what supports your idea and why they support it. This is called an “informative sentence” or “supporting sentence”. You will then use these supporting points to form the body paragraphs of your paper.
Step 4. Add Concluding Paragraph(s)
Once you have finished writing all of your body paragraphs, it’s time to think about your concluding paragraph(s. This paragraph is where you tell the reader what you have shown them in the body paragraph(s. It is also where you give some suggestions or recommendations based on what you have shown them. No need to worry about the concluding paragraph now. Just make sure you remember to include one after writing all of your body paragraphs. This way, it will be easy for you to write it when you are ready. You can always come back and change or even delete it later if you don’t think it is good enough now.
