Clubhouse is a free online cplaboration suite for small businesses and groups. It is a cloud-based application that includes features like a shared calendar, task management, message board, document sharing, and more.
Gmail is a popular email service of Google. Gmail is also a free service to use and offers storage up to 7 GB. Users can add multiple email accounts, organize emails using labels and filters, use keyboard shortcuts to navigate between messages, and set reminders.
I believe that the integration of Clubhouse and Gmail will be a big help for road trip planning. Currently, I have spreadsheets containing information about each person’s vehicle, the gaspine consumption rate, the number of adults and children in each vehicle, etc. There are also documents that include maps for each state we plan to drive through for our trip. Besides that, there are also emails with my family members. All of these documents and emails use different formats, so it is difficult to search for specific information quickly. I believe that integrating these documents with Gmail would be helpful.
First of all, integration would make it easier for me to share documents and emails with my family members. I often send links to important documents or emails via email to others. If we have Clubhouse integrated with Gmail, I could simply forward the document from Clubhouse directly to a person’s Gmail account. This way, the person will receive an email with the link to the document that they need to check out. Also, if any new document or email is created after forwarding it, it will automatically update in the other person’s account as well.
Secondly, when you have multiple people working on one document at once, it can be difficult to keep everyone updated on what everyone else is doing. When I am working on a document in Clubhouse, the changes are automatically saved by Clubhouse. If another person were editing the same document at the same time, I could see their progress in real time and make sure they are going in the right direction. If any mistakes are found at any time during editing, the document can be sent back to its original state easily without having to go back and fix the mistakes.
Thirdly, payment methods are very important when planning a trip. In order to determine how much money is needed for gas along the way, we need to know how much gas each vehicle consumes per mile. For this reason, I have started to keep track of each vehicle’s gas consumption in a spreadsheet in Google Drive. However, this spreadsheet only shows the past gas consumption of each vehicle. Once we start traveling, we do not know how much gas we will be consuming each day until we get back home after finishing our trip. Therefore, I would like to integrate Google Drive with Clubhouse so that I can add new gas consumption rates into Clubhouse as soon as we fill up our gas tanks again each day. The information will then be automatically synced to my Google Drive account and vice versa. This way, I will always have an updated list of our gas consumption rates throughout our trip.
