Adobe Connect?

Adobe Connect is a web conferencing spution that allows multiple participants from different locations to participate in web conferences via the internet. It enables people to show presentations, share screens or documents, make video calls, take part in virtual meetings, conduct online trainings and many other things. The best feature of Adobe Connect is its screen sharing feature which lets users share their desktop screens with the participants. For this purpose, it uses Flash technpogy which is reliable and reliable. It also includes a chat feature which makes participants easy to communicate.

Integration of Firebase Cloud Storage and Adobe Connect

First of all, you need to create a free account on Firebase Cloud Storage. Secondly, you need to create a free account on Adobe Connect. After that, you need to log into your account on Firebase Cloud Storage and go to Dashboard. From there, you have to tap on the “Settings” option and click on “Add Firebase to your site” button. Then, you have to give the connection name and click on “add” button. After that, you have to scrpl down until you reach “Scripts & APIs” section and click on “Link” button next to “Scripting API” option. Now, you need to copy the code snippet that was generated by Firebase Cloud Storage into the <head> section of your website’s HTML file. This snippet will contain your project ID, subdomain, install script link etc. Simply paste the content inside the script tag and save the file. Next thing is to create a free account on Adobe Connect and login to your account. After logging into your account on Adobe Connect, you will come across “Create a new meeting” option. Click on it and fplow these steps:

  • Give your meeting a title
  • Select “Upload Presentation” option from the drop down list
  • Select Firebase Storage option from the drop down list under Advanced Options section
  • Select the checkbox next to “Enable Screen Sharing” option
  • Click on “Save” button at the bottom of page Now, you can start creating your meeting by entering the email addresses of participants who are going to join the meeting in the required fields. You can also enter your mobile number so that other participants can call you directly through Adobe Connect app on their mobile phones. After entering the details of participants, click on “Invite People” button at the bottom of page. This will send invitation emails to all of your participants asking them to join your meeting. Once all of your participants have joined your meeting, then you can start sharing your desktop screen with them by clicking on “Share my screen” option on the top right corner of your screen. If you want to stop sharing your screen with other participants, then simply click on “Stop Sharing” option on the top right corner of your screen. You can also make video calls with other participants through Adobe Connect by clicking on “Make Video Call” option on the top right corner of your screen. Similarly, you can also share documents or presentation slides with other participants through Adobe Connect by clicking on “Share File” option on the top right corner of your screen. Furthermore, if you want to install Flash Player on your computer after login into your account on Adobe Connect then simply click on “Get Flash Player” option that will be available under Settings section. You can also enjoy one-to-one video chat with other participants by clicking on “Start One-to-One Video Chat” option that will be available under Video Chat section.
