Salesforce acquired BambooHR in February 2018 for $75 million. This integration of BambooHR and Salesforce will give Salesforce customers access to additional functionality that will help with managing their people, making it easier to hire top talent and building better relationships with employees through employee engagement. One of the other goals of this integration is to use the data collected from Salesforce’s relationship with their clients to provide specific information to BambooHR users based on their particular needs. For example, if a client has an event coming up, they can see what events are going on nearby for their employees. Event planners can reach out to the HR department to get more information about the employees that will be attending the event in order to make sure that they have a great experience at the event.
