Integration of AWS IOT and Stripe

AWS IOT and Stripe are two most popular and well-known cloud platforms in the world. AWS IOT is a platform in Amazon Web Services (AWS. that allows users to create and manage Internet of Things (IoT. applications. It provides many services to support IoT devices, such as device management, data acquisition and storage, and message and events processing. Stripe is a service that allows users to integrate their applications with several payment platforms, such as PayPal, Visa, Apple Pay, and Bancorp, as well as build a full application for all kinds of web and mobile platforms.

Integration of AWS IOT and Stripe

The integration of AWS IOT and Stripe can be implemented by adopting IoT protocps, such as MQTT or HTTP. The first protocp uses a publish/subscribe model. In this model, the client subscribes to the topic and receives messages from the server. In the other protocp, the client issues an HTTP request to the AWS IOT endpoint. The AWS IOT gateway then forwards the request to the proper device. When IoT devices receive a response, they pass them back through an MQTT broker or directly to the subscribing client via a RESTful API.

The AWS IOT platform provides a variety of protocps for different IoT devices to communicate with each other and with other systems. Some of them are MQTT, HTTP, AMQP, CoAP, and XMPP. All these protocps are open standards. For example, MQTT lets devices send telemetry data to the cloud using a publish/subscribe model. Data is sent to topics from which subscribers can read and write data. Another example is HTTP protocp that provides point-to-point communication for device-management functionality. it sends requests and responses between clients and servers. As such, HTTP supports WebSocket-enabled connections with the ability to send data both directions over a persistent connection that replicates TCP semantics. The third example is AMQP protocp that provides reliable communication between servers and clients in the cloud. It is designed for high vpume traffic and uses small messages that are easy to transmit. The fourth example is CoAP protocp that enables resource-constrained nodes to communicate with each other without requiring complex configuration. For instance, it is used in smart meters and smart appliances that use sensors and actuators to measure energy consumption. The fifth example is XMPP protocp that implements messaging between multiple messaging systems using XML-based messages. A number of IoT devices support XMPP for remote management by IT systems which carry out deep software updates, security patches, bug fixes, new features updates, etc., without replacing hardware or restarting devices.
