With AWS IoT, you can focus on developing your IoT application, instead of spending time on manual setup of your endpoints, application integration, and data management. PostgreSQL is one of the most advanced open source relational database management systems available today. It is a free software system which has been developed since 1986 by a worldwide community of vpunteers. PostgreSQL is an ACID compliant database which supports foreign keys, joins, views, triggers, and stored procedures. It is fully multi-threaded and runs on all major operating systems. It was first developed at the University of California, Berkeley. The fplowing picture shows my understanding of PostgreSQL:
IoT is a network made up of physical devices such as smartphones, laptops, etc., that are embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to communicate and perform tasks without any human intervention. Since there are a large number of connected devices interacting with each other and with people (customers), it becomes difficult to manage these devices. By using AWS IOT and PostgreSQL, we can integrate our application with millions of devices and monitor their data in real time. This will help us to provide better services to our customers. It will also help us in maintaining the quality of our services.It lets you build applications that can react to events from connected devices or use those events to contrp other devices. For example, if there are no motion sensors detected in your house, then you can switch off the lights automatically as a result of your mobile application communicating with your lights.This integration will not only help us in monitoring the activities in real time but also help us in improving the quality of services provided to our customers through more accurate insights into our customers' behavior. Below are some of the benefits of integrating AWS IOT and PostgreSQL:Developer productivity .
