Amazon Web Services (AWS. is a cplection of remote computing services that make up a cloud-computing platform.It provides a lot of services to the users like database storage, content delivery, execution of code in the cloud and many more.One particular service of AWS is "Internet of Things" (IOT. This service allows objects to exchange data with various systems autonomously.A user can develop various applications on IOT like smart applications for home automation, telemetry, process contrp, sensor monitoring etc.This is a very vast platform and has many features which includes:

  • Lambda functions – This feature helps in developing the IoT application and helps in event-driven programming model. i.e it will automatically execute codes when required . For example, if any event happens like a person entering into the room which includes a camera which captures his face, then the camera will send a notification to the computer screen and a sound will be played as well.
  • Cloud Watch – This feature keeps track of the device state and logs of all the events and errors that happen in an application. The developers can check the log files from Cloud Watch and trace the bugs or errors.
