We can create an application that runs on AWS IoT or another platform that’s best suited for our use case and then integrate it with other applications and tops so that it works seamlessly with those other applications and tops, regardless of whether they run on AWS cloud sputions, on-premises systems or another public or private cloud platform. We can use AWS IoT together with other AWS services such as Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS. and Amazon Kinesis, so that we can receive push notifications whenever a specific event occurs on one or more connected devices or sensors. We can write software programs or scripts that run on an Amazon EC2 instance on which RabbitMQ is installed, or on which RabbitMQ runs natively, so that simple actions such as monitoring preconfigured topics in a queue—even when there’s no activity from associated connected devices—can trigger actions such as sending push notifications to web browsers, mobile phones or other connected devices on which software programs or scripts are running.
