Integration of AWS IOT and Amazon EC2

IOT stands for Internet of Things. It is a network of physical devices, vehicles and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and connectivity which enable these objects to connect and exchange data. Each thing is uniquely identified through its embedded computing system but is able to interoperate within the existing Internet infrastructure. The Internet of Things is a mass-scale cplaboration of both physical devices and software systems.

Amazon EC2 provides scalable computing capacity in the cloud. It is a web service that provides secure, resizable compute capacity in the cloud. Amazon EC2 makes it easy to launch as many virtual servers as you need. You can gain access to a variety of pre-packaged software images or rpl your own operating system by launching an Amazon Machine Image (AMI. With Amazon EC2, you pay only for what you use, so you can scale up or down to meet your application requirements.

There are three major categories of integration between AWS IOT and Amazon EC2. These are infrastructure, platform, and application integration.

Infrastructure integration refers to the connection between different pieces of hardware to form a whpe system or network. This means connecting all the individual pieces of hardware through wireless or wired connections. This allows the user to monitor and contrp everything from one central point. For example, if there are 100 sensors in a monitoring system, then they would be connected together using wired connections. This limits the amount of data streaming from each sensor and would also be more reliable.

Platform integration refers to performing actions on one platform from another platform. This can be done using APIs and databases that are shared between the two platforms. For example, if a person wanted to use Amazon S3 to store their files then they could connect their local computer with Amazon S3 through an API that allows them to upload files to the cloud storage service.

Application integration occur when different applications interact with each other through an API. An API acts as an interface that allows two applications to communicate with each other and exchange data. For example, if there are two applications both written in Java that have to share data, then they can talk to each other through an API that allows Java objects to be passed back and forth. In this way, both applications can work with the same set of data without having to worry about how the data is being stored.
