Asana is a task management software which I use at work every day and it has integrated with my Zoho CRM. Asana is a web-based project management tool which can be used for a team collaboration by assigning tasks, viewing progress and accessing reports.

It was started in 2008 by Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz and ex-Google engineer Justin Rosenstein. Its headquarters are in San Francisco, California.  The company has raised $83 million in venture capital from investors including Benchmark Capital, Andreessen Horowitz and Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz. Asana's clients include Atlassian, Box, Cisco, eBay, GE, Intel, Lyft, PepsiCo and The Walt Disney Company.Asana offers task management, messaging and file sharing tools for teams to collaborate. Asana provides an interface for assigning tasks to team members, tracking the progress of those tasks and communicating about them.An administrator can set up multiple users, assign permissions to each user and customize the look of the service.
