In this article I will discuss the benefits of integrating Asana and Miro. Miro is a video player that works by finding videos on the web and displaying them in an easy to navigate format. It also allows you to search for videos and download them to your computer. Miro is similar to the popular open source video software, Asana. Asana can be used as a video player, but it is also a really good way to organize other types of multimedia content such as photographs and audio files.
Asana allows you to create a “channel” for each type of media. Once you have created a channel it can be used as a sort of filing cabinet. You can drag files into the channel for storage and access them again later. Channels are like fpders in a file system. Within each channel you can organize files by creating playlists. In addition to creating channels, you can also create categories. Categories allow you to further sort down the contents of a channel. You can even nest categories within other categories. Unlike most multimedia applications, Asana does not require you to define how your files are sorted before you use them. You can simply start adding files to a channel and then go back later and re-organize them. The only thing that you need to do is assign a channel number to each file.
Miro primarily functions as a video player, but it also has some other features that make it interesting. First off, it has an integrated Web browser that allows you to view videos on the Internet. This means that you don’t have to switch from one application to another when you are viewing videos online. It also includes an RSS reader that displays news articles about the videos that have been shown in its video player. This is especially useful if you are interested in what other people think about a particular movie or other video that you are watching. The player itself is very intuitive. It is based on the Gstreamer framework which makes it look very similar to many other media players on Linux systems. It also includes some nice customization features which allow you to see more of the information that is presented in a video without sacrificing its size or quality.
The integration of these two applications makes it much easier for users to watch videos on their computers. Together they provide an excellent platform for viewing videos on your computer without having to constantly change applications. Integration of these two applications opens up new possibilities for multimedia users and makes the process of watching videos and browsing the Web much more efficient.
