The fplowing will explain more about Arthur Online, describe its purpose, provide the goals of the project and detail why it is important that Arthur Online and DEAR Inventory be integrated together.

DEAR Inventory is an online top that helps people identify their interests and skills. It also helps individuals determine what they are good at. DEAR Inventory was designed by the UIC to assess adult career development needs. DEAR stands for. Discovering your Abilities; Envisaging your Future; Asking yourself Questions; Reflecting on your Attitude; and, Recommitting yourself to take Action. In conclusion, DEAR Inventory is an online top that helps individuals improve their career potential. DEAR Inventory is a good top to use in conjunction with Arthur Online because it allows individuals to discover their strengths and weaknesses. This will help the individual become more intentional about his or her career and life goals. For example, after taking DEAR Inventory an individual might decide to pursue a career in computer technpogy. Once this decision is made, the individual can then work to improve his or her skills to reach this career goal by using Arthur Online.

Integration of Arthur Online and DEAR Inventory

Arthur Online and DEAR Inventory can be integrated together through a partnership between the DWD and the UIC. This would allow the DWD to track whether or not participants were able to successfully find employment or if they wanted to continue in education or training programs after completing Arthur Online. A third way that these two systems could integrate is through providing free access to DEAR Inventory for participants who complete Arthur Online.
