Amazon CloudWatch is a monitoring service for AWS cloud resources and the applications you run on AWS. CloudWatch provides detailed monitoring metrics for your AWS resources — including Amazon EC2 instances, Amazon EBS volumes, Elastic Load Balancing load balancers, Amazon RDS DB instances, Auto Scaling groups, ELB access logs, Amazon S3 buckets, security groups, network ACLs, and much more — in a timely fashion.

As Amazon SQS has been released by Amazon Web Service as a message driven service platform so one can use it to build distributed applications and micro services in which the components interact by using queues. As we all know that queue is simple concept used to store messages and process them later in some predefined order.
