Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS. is a web service that enables developers to build distributed, fault-tolerant, large-scale push messaging applications using familiar web development technologies such as HTTP/HTTPS. SNS provides a highly available notification delivery platform that is optimized for mobile devices.

    What is Downtime Alert?

Downtime Alert is a cloud monitoring tool that notifies you if one or more of your web applications goes down. You can use it for free up to 5 minutes per month and it has a free tier if you need more than 5 minutes.

    Integration of Amazon SNS and Downtime Alert

If you have an application in your AWS account, you can set up Downtime Alert to notify you if that application stops working.
