Amazon S3 is a storage solution for any company that needs to store large amounts of data. In this paper, we will be discussing how Tableau integrates with Amazon S3 and what the benefits of integration of the two are.Tableau is a business intelligence tool that allows users to visualize and analyze data in a variety of ways. It is a great tool to use because it allows users to do everything from retrieving data to visualizing it right on their desktop. It works by connecting to different types of databases to retrieve information such as Excel, SQL, and Postgres. This makes it very versatile because the user does not need to know anything about the underlying technology used to connect to the database. WDCs are basically extensions created in Java that allow users to access data stored on a server through Tableau's Workspace system. A WDC can be made by anyone who knows how to program in Java and knows how to use Tableau's API for Java. The advantage of using this workaround is that it requires no technical knowledge on behalf of the user and is fairly straightforward to install; however, it only works if the user has access to Java development software.
