We help our partners managing their labels or artists; we give them the opportunity to easily upload music to the marketplaces and also sell digital downloads directly from their personal website. Our partner platform Sympla Connect allows our partners to manage their artist or label information in one single place in order to update and maintain all digital assets quickly and efficiently including audio files, videos and images. With this we offer our partners an easy way to keep their fanbase updated with all relevant news about their artists or label at any time and from any place in the world via an artist or label portal which they can individually customize to their needs and taste.

How Sympla works. The basic principle of the Sympla content management system is that artists and labels create their own customized pages through Sympla’s portal system where they can publish audio files, videos, images, text newsfeeds etc.. Additionally, they can sell their music directly on these pages as well as track some statistics about the popularity of the tracks they have uploaded for sale on iTunes or Beatport etc.. With their pages, artists or labels can also sell individual tracks or albums directly via PayPal on their own website without having to rely on Sympla’s payment provider Paymill, but instead they can choose any other provider they want to use on their own website.

These audio files are stored on the website of the musicians who upload them onto Sympla Connect for distribution purposes; however, once uploaded onto Sympla Connect, these files are managed by the artist himself/herself or his/her manager so there is no need for Sympla staff to have access to these files at all times. This kind of contrp ensures that musicians have full contrp over their audio files even though they are being managed by a third party like Sympla Connect since there is no need for anyone from Sympla’s team to have access to these files at any time since it does not affect performance or stability of the channel provided by Sympla Connect.
