Integration of Amazon EC2 and Instagram Lead Ads

    What is Amazon EC2?

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2. is a web service that provides resizable compute capacity in the cloud. It is designed to make web-scale cloud computing easier for developers. It is part of Amazon Web Services portfolio. It provides a web service interface that can be used to launch as many as hundreds of thousands of tiny virtual servers or instances, which we call "virtual CPUs" or "instances", in minutes.

There are two types of instances available as of now:

  • Non-Blocked Instances. These instances don't block each other and can be launched in parallel to scale up compute capacity. These instances are ideal for applications like web servers, cache servers, BitTorrent trackers etc.
  • Blocked Instances. These instances are ideal for applications that require a dedicated core, or CPU. These instances provide high performance cores such as Intel Xeon E5-2670.
