Amazon EC2 is a web service that provides access to a virtual machine environment in which one can install any operating system. Cloud Firestore is a NoSQL database that stores data in cloud-hosted databases. The integration of Amazon EC2 and Cloud Firestore enables an organization to have a scalable and reliable server environment, and the use of a NoSQL database for storage and retrieval of data.
AWS provides services such as Amazon EC2 and Cloud Firestore to integrate with a company’s existing infrastructure. To demonstrate the integration of Amazon EC2 and Cloud Firestore, we will create a server configuration that has Amazon EC2 as the virtual machine environment, and Cloud Firestore as the storage platform. We will deploy three servers (two web servers and one database server. and load the website content on web servers. All of the websites will be stored in Cloud Firestore. When creating the server configuration, we will use Terraform to help us with deploying our servers. Terraform is a tool that helps us to describe all of the required resources for our infrastructure in code. This reduces human error and helps us to be repeatable when establishing the infrastructure.
To use Terraform, we need to have access to an AWS account, create a Terraform configuration file, and then use Terraform to create the infrastructure. For this demonstration, we will use an AWS account that has access to EC2 and Cloud Firestore.
The process to integrate Amazon EC2 and Cloud Firestore may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick solution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
