Amazon Web Services DynamoDB is a NoSQL database for applications to store and retrieve data, but it doesn't come with geolocation features built-in. That's where this automation comes in. Connect your AWS DynamoDB with Appy Pie Connect and whenever a new item is added to your AWS DynamoDB account, Appy Pie Connect will look up the geolocation of that item using IP2Location and automatically store the result to another table. You can use this automation for any IP on any AWS region.
    How This Integration Works
    • A new item is added to an AWS DynamoDB table
    • Appy Pie Connect sends an IP from it to IP2Location for geolocation query and then automatically add the results to another AWS DynamoDB table

Integration of Amazon DynamoDB and Square

Amazon DynamoDB is a web service which provides a scalable database service for all applications. It uses Amazon's web services as its storage backend and is compatible with Amazon EC2. The DynamoDB tables can be accessed through the AWS Management Console or programmatically using the AWS SDKs including JavaScript, Python, Java, .NET, Objective-C, and others. It was introduced by Amazon in 2012. It is a NoSQL database because it doesn't support ACID transactions (although this might change in the future. It is managed by Amazon. You don't have to worry about provisioning servers, load balancing, backups, or scaling your database cluster. You also don't need to learn and configure any APIs because you can use the familiar SQL-like interface instead of learning new APIs.A table contains items like rows and columns of data. You can store anything from documents to structured types or even images or videos. Each item has a primary key that you must decide upon when creating the table. The primary key is used to uniquely identify each item in the table and must be either an integer, string, a hash set, or a hash map with a binary value type. The columns are similar to database columns. The column name must contain only lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores. Columns can be of any data type including strings, numbers, or binary data up to 4kb in size. The primary key must be unique within each table and cannot be changed after creation. The primary key cannot be nullable and is indexed for fast lookup by DynamoDB.The index determines how data is sorted on disk. DynamoDB automatically creates an index for each primary key column in the table. This means that every time you add an item, it will be automatically sorted based on the primary key values you specified during creation and saved to disk. You can define your own secondary indexes on top of this automatically generated index but they will not be used for sorting, just for filtering items that match your query results. Finally, there is a provisioned throughput capacity that specifies the maximum amount of read and write activity that your account can perform on the table each month. The advantages of using DynamoDB are:·          Fast – The application performance can scale up or down automatically based on your usage patterns.·          Simple – You don't need to know any API calls or make any configuration changes if you need more capacity or throughput. Simply increase it using the AWS Management Console or API calls.·          Cost Effective – You pay for what you use based on your monthly requests. There are no upfront costs or long-term contracts required here.Square Register is a point of sale system developed by Square Inc.. It can be run on either iPad or iPhone devices. Square Register tracks sales, inventory, customer information, and other business data for retail and food establishments. It also offers analytics and reporting tools such as sales reports, item reports, daily reports, order reports, and location reports which are easy to generate without needing any technical knowledge.Businesses can view their business reports and analytics on Square Dashboard via web browsers or on mobile devices running iOS 8 or later versions as well as Android devices running operating systems 4.4 or later versions. It's also easy for new users to get started because Square Register is so intuitive and user-friendly compared to other POS systems available on the market today.Square Register has built-in features that help merchants manage their businesses more efficiently including:·          Promotions – Merchants can create promotional offers which will be automatically applied to transactions triggered by those promotions. For example, if a merchant wants to give away a free cupcake with every purchase of $10 at their bakery shop, they can create a promotion named "Buy One Cupcake Get One Free" and specify the price as $10 with a quantity limit of one cupcake per transaction for everyone who uses that promotion code while checking out. The promotion code can be manually selected by the merchant if they want to manually trigger specific promotions at certain times of the year such as seasonal discounts, Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, etc..·          Gift Cards – Merchants can easily create gift cards from their businesses with names and images of their choice. Customers can use these gift cards anytime they want by entering the gift card number in their payments screen when they check out with Square Register (and they can even add multiple gift cards at once if they want. When customers use gift cards, the amount of money automatically gets subtracted from their gift card balance which is stored on Square's secure servers so merchants don't have to refund customers or track the balance themselves.Square has integrated Square Register with Amazon Web Services which means merchants using Square Register can now take advantage of all the benefits of Amazon Web Services such as being able to run their systems 24/7 without worrying about hardware issues, problems with network connectivity, maintenance activities like patching software or firmware updates, etc..There are many benefits offered by integrating Square Register with Amazon Web Services:·          Reliability – Since Square Register is hosted on Amazon Web Services' servers and databases are managed by Amazon itself, there's no need to worry about hardware failures or downtime caused by accidents such as flooding because Amazon's datacenters have been engineered to withstand natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.. Also, there's no need to worry about the security of your data since Amazon Web Services uses state-of-the-art security protocols designed by experts in order to protect your data from hackers and unauthorized access attempts whether from inside or outside of their datacenters.·          Scalability – If you're running an online business that generates lots of sales during holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving or during special promotions such as "Black Friday", you'll need more powerful hardware than usual to run your website smoothly since there will be more traffic coming into your website from customers who want to check out your products and services before deciding whether they want to buy anything from you or not. That's why it's important for online businesses to plan ahead how much additional hardware they will need in order to handle all that extra traffic during peak seasons such as Christmas so they won't experience downtime related problems when that extra traffic hits their website unexpectedly without warning them first about its impending arrival beforehand (this happened a lot last year during Christmas when many websites crashed due to unexpected high traffic loads. Amazon Web Services makes it easier for businesses to scale their systems up and down automatically based on their usage patterns in real-time so they don't have to worry about unexpected traffic spikes causing unexpected downtime because Amazon Web Services will handle that issue for them automatically behind the scenes in near real-time without them having to lift a finger on their end in order to prevent downtime situations from happening in the first place… So that's why it's important for online businesses who generate lots of sales during peak seasons such as Christmas or Thanksgiving season (or any other special promotions. to integrate their POS systems with Amazon Web Services so that they will be able to handle all that extra traffic coming into their website when those seasonal spikes hit their website unexpectedly without warning them first about its impending arrival beforehand (this happened a lot last year during Christmas when many websites crashed due to unexpected high traffic loads.·          Analytics & Reports – Since Amazon Web Services integrates with Square Register, it's easy for online businesses to generate helpful analytics reports and business reports which they can view using Square Dashboard via web browsers or mobile devices running iOS 8 or later versions as well as Android devices running operating systems 4.4 or later versions… So that's why it's important for online businesses who use Square Register integrated with Amazon Web Services to view their business reports and analytics on Square Dashboard via web browsers or mobile devices running iOS 8 or later versions as well as Android devices running operating systems 4.4 or later versions because it's easier for them to generate helpful analytics reports and business reports using Square Dashboard rather than having to rely on complex SQL queries in order to get those same reports generated using SQL queries… And this integration makes it easier for online businesses who use Square Register integrated with Amazon Web Services because they don't have to worry about learning how to write complex SQL queries anymore in order to generate helpful analytics reports and business reports because they can generate those same
