You can easily integrate Amazon DynamoDB and Notion by using Notion’s Sync feature. This will allow syncing of your Amazon DynamoDB tables via CloudTrail.

Once you have integrated the two together, you can build complex workflows with Trigger. You can then create subscriptions with RSS feeds or emails that will automatically send notifications to users whenever new items are created or updated in the Amazon DynamoDB tables.

Integration of Amazon DynamoDB and Notion

To integrate Amazon DynamoDB and Notion, fplow these steps:

  • Go to the AWS Management Conspe and open CloudTrail. From there, go to Settings->Triggers and create a new trigger as shown below:
  • In the “When a user accesses an AWS resource” section, select all three actions as shown below:
  • Open the source action from the list of options on the left-hand side of the page. Select “Logging from a bucket” from the list of actions as shown below:
  • In the “Bucket name” field, type the name of the bucket where your Amazon DynamoDB tables are stored. In the “Prefix” field, type the prefix of the table names. For example, if your tables are named “tbl_project”, type “tbl_” as shown below:
  • In the “S3 object key” field, type the KeyPrefix of the S3 object that contains the JSON file that contains the Streams configuration of your Amazon DynamoDB table(s. To find this information, go to Amazon S3, select your table(s. and choose “Properties”. From there, find “Streaming” under “Settings” and find the value next to “StreamingConfiguration” as shown below:
  • Repeat steps 4-5 for any other Amazon DynamoDB tables you wish to sync with Notion. Once done, click on “Create trigger” button 7. Your trigger is now created! 8. Next, go to Notion’s settings page (the cog icon next to your username), go to Integrations tab and select Amazon DynamoDB as shown below. 9. Click on “Add integration” button 10. From the left-hand side of the screen, select “AWS access key ID” option as shown below. 11. Next, enter your Access Key Id 12. Next, click on the blue Save button 13. Now select “AWS secret access key” option 14. Enter your Secret Access Key 15. Next, click on the blue Save button 16. Finally, click on “Create integration” button 17. Congratulations!
