Airtable is a powerful tool which can be used to manage various types of data. It is a web-base application where you can create lists and add unlimited amount of data to it. You can also assign a due date for each item of the list according to your schedule. It is like a spreadsheet, but much more than that. You can share your project with multiple users. Airtable has basic features like sorting, filtering, searching and creating charts from your records. There are many apps which integrate with Airtable and use its data.
Kanban is a management method which was developed in Toyota in the 1950s. Kanban means "visual card" in Japanese. It helps teams deliver work items in an effective manner by limiting the number of items up for development at any given time. It uses a visual board (like a bulletin board or whiteboard. where you create columns or lanes to represent each work item that needs to be worked on. Each lane contains a set of cards or sticky notes which represent the work items. The columns represent the different stages of development and the number of cards in each column represents the number of items being worked on in each stage.

We can simply drag the kanban board from kanban tool into the Airtable page and it will then appear inside that page as a tab. We can also create a separate Airtable database or sheet for all the information related to our projects or tasks which we are working on and can then drag the kanban board into this database or sheet. If we have created separate sheets for each project, we can also drag the kanban board into one of those sheets. Thus, we can have kanban boards inside kanban Tool and Airtable at the same time. This enables us to monitor our tasks and projects from both the tools at once and view them side by side. We can also link information between the kanban board and Airtable so that when any task gets completed, it will automatically get reflected in the kanban board. This helps us keep track of our workflow and see what is getting done currently and what is pending in our list of tasks. We can drag tasks from Airtable into Kanban Tool, but we cannot drag the other way around because Kanban Tool doesn't support dragging information from its tools to another tool. Also, if we click on any task in the kanban board, it will open up the task details in its original location i.e., the kanban board itself, not in Airtable. This makes it easier for us to handle all the details about the particular task without having to switch between two different tools, i.e., Airtable and Kanban Tool. We just have to keep all our information about each task inside one tool, i.e., either Airtable or Kanban Tool, and refer to it from there whenever needed.
