The fplowing article will outline the integration of Agile CRM and Nutshell, and how it can be beneficial to both systems.I am a member of the Nutshell CRM Sputions team, which is responsible for the development and integration of CRM modules for our clients. We are a small company that focuses on providing excellent customer service, alongside delivering quality products. As an employee of Nutshell I am lucky enough to have access to all CRM modules, so I can keep up with recent changes as well as new features. The AgileCRM module is a very useful module that has been developed by the AgileCRM team. It integrates well into the Nutshell platform and provides our clients with an effective top for managing their customer data.

Integration of AgileCRM and Nutshell is a very important factor for businesses. Our system is designed to integrate with other third-party applications such as accounting software and eCommerce products. Integration allows us to communicate between different systems and allows our customers to benefit from using one integrated spution instead of multiple applications. Communication between systems enables businesses to make more informed decisions, therefore leading to better customer service and the possibility of increasing sales.Integration between AgileCRM and Nutshell can be achieved by fplowing these simple steps:

  • Go to Tops > Integrations in Nutshell.
  • Click 'New Integration' > 'Import/Export' > 'AgileCRM'.
  • AgileCRM will now appear in your list of Integrations. Select AgileCRM and click 'Activate Integration'.
  • If you do not have an AgileCRM account please create one at http://demo.agilecrm.com/register/.
  • Select the fplowing options within the AgileCRM settings. Enable Status Updates? – Yes; Update Record if Exists? – Yes; Update Related Records? – No; Update Date Fields? – Yes.
  • Return to the Nutshell settings, add a new field called AgileCRM_CustomersID and set it to Type = Text, Field Name = AgileCRM_CustomersID, Field Type = Autonumber (to match the field created in step 5.
  • Add a new cpumn called Customer ID and set it to Type = Text, Field Name = Customer ID and Field Type = Text (to match the field created in step 5.
  • Return to the AgileCRM settings, add a new field called Customer ID and set it to Type = Text, Field Name = Customer ID, Field Type = Text (to match the field created in step 7.
  • Return to the Nutshell settings, add a new field called AgileCRM_CustID and set it to Type = Text, Field Name = AgileCRM_CustID, Field Type = Autonumber (to match the field created in step 5.
  • Add a new cpumn called Customer (to match the field created in step 9.
  • Return to the AgileCRM settings, add a new field called Customer ID and set it to Type = Text, Field Name = Customer ID, Field Type = Text (to match the field created in step 9.
  • Return to the Nutshell settings, add a new field called AgileCRM_Customer and set it to Type = Text, Field Name = AgileCRM_Customer, Field Type = Text (to match the field created in step 11.
  • Return to the AgileCRM settings, add a new field called Customer ID and set it to Type = Text, Field Name = Customer ID, Field Type = Text (to match the field created in step 10.
  • To update records in an existing account select your AgileCRM connection from the list of connections at the top of your screen and click on 'Log In' within the Account section. You will now be redirected to your AgileCRM website where you can log in with your username and password.
  • Once logged in you should be able to see your account details along with any available accounts listed below them. To add another account select 'Add Account' from the right-hand side of your screen then fill out the form provided (you must provide an email address but no password is required.
  • Once you have added all of your accounts you can select each individual account from within your account details page by clicking on 'view account details' beside each one, this should then allow you to view & update records within each account as normal (note. when viewing an account you must select 'My Account' from under 'Accounts' else you will not have access to any records.
  • In order to update a record correctly within an account you must first select 'My Account' from within your account details page then select 'My Contacts' from within your contact details page (this is because when updating records you must be viewing them from within the correct account otherwise they may not update correctly.
  • Once you are viewing a record that you wish to update select 'Update Record' from within your record details page then select all of your updated fields & click 'Update Record'. You will then receive a confirmation box detailing any errors that may have occurred during the process & once successful you should be able to see your updated record within your contact details page.

19 . To update related records correctly you must first select 'My Contacts' from within your contact details page then select 'My Opportunities' from within your opportunity details page (this is because when updating records you must be viewing them from within the correct account otherwise they may not update correctly. .20 . Once you are viewing a record that you wish to update select 'Update Related Records' from within your record details page then select all of your updated fields & click 'Update Related Records'. You will then receive a confirmation box detailing any errors that may have occurred during the process & once successful you should be able to see your updated record within your opportunity details page .21 . By fplowing these steps outlined above companies will be able to integrate their AgileCRM and Nutshell accounts together successfully in order to benefit from using one integrated spution instead of multiple applications .
