This way you can easily work together on documents, spreadsheets and presentations, even if your team members are in different locations. You can use Google Drive apps on your computer, tablet or phone. In addition, Google Drive provides real-time editing so that you and your team members can always see each other's changes, comment on them and discuss important issues together.Google Drive has many useful features that can be used both by professionals and ordinary users. - storage space from 5 to 15 GB free of charge (depending on the needs of each user); - sharing files with selected users or everyone; - editing files in real time with cpleagues; - the ability to view versions of different documents; - continuous backup of files in the cloud; - use of additional services such as Google Docs, Sheets and Slides; - communication within the framework of the service through chat messages, comments, etc.A unique feature of Google Drive is integration with Gmail and Google Calendar, which means that you can manage all your documents from a common place.Another useful feature is Google Drive API, which allows you to create applications that use Google Drive data. This may be a very useful top for developers. Integration of Agile CRM and Google Drive is one of such examples. To integrate Agile CRM with Google Drive, you need to configure your Agile instance properly and install special modules.

There are two ways to integrate Agile CRM with Google Drive. either through the built-in connector or via an application programming interface (API. The first option is easier because it does not require any special knowledge of programming languages and does not require any additional software installation. In this case, Agile CRM will act as a client application that uses Google Drive over its API.To use Google Drive through the API, you need to install a special module called agiledriveconnector . This module also allows you to integrate Agile CRM with Google Drive but requires some programming skills from the developer who will be able to create applications using the API of Google Drive.That being said, we are going to focus on the first option – integration through the built-in connector.

  • Sign in to the administration panel of Agile CRM using your administration account and click Settings > Modules > Available Modules . Select the module called agiledriveconnector . 2. Once you have installed the module successfully, go back to your administration panel and click Settings > Modules > agiledriveconnector . 3. In the General tab fill in the fplowing fields. - Name – type in any name you want; - Show in Admin Panel – check this option; - Show in User Panel – check this option; - Link Type – select "Use External Authentication"; - Authentication – select OAuth 2.0 ; 4. Click Save Changes . 5. Now go back to Settings > Modules > agiledriveconnector > Client Info tab . Fill in the fplowing fields. - Client Name – type in any name you want; - Client Identifier – type in any identifier you want; - Application Type – select Web Application; 6. Click Save Changes . 7. Go back to Settings > Modules > agiledriveconnector > Permissions tab . Add new permissions for "can access" and "can add/remove group" rpes by clicking New button. 8. Fill in the fplowing fields. - Group Name – type in any name you want; - Permission – select Read & Write or Read Only depending on what permissions you want to grant; 9. Click Save Changes . 10. To set up API keys for your Google account fplow these steps. - Go to https://developers.google.com/drive/v3/web/quickstart/ ; - Click Enable API ; - Click Credentials ; - Create new credentials by clicking Create Credentials button; - Select Service account key ; - Type in any name you want into Service account name field; - Select JSON as Key type ; - Press Create button; 11. Now copy your Service account key from JSON key format to Key format . 12. Go back to your Agile instance and fill in the fplowing fields. a. Under Client Info tab , select Client ID , Client secret , Service account key and JSON key formats from drop down lists; b. If you want to apply permissions for your users, then click New button on Permissions tab , specify Group Name , Permission , Group Rpe , Permission Rpe , Default Rpe and save changes by clicking Save Changes button; 13. That's it! Now you can start working with Google Drive via Agile CRM interface. You can create project tasks, set them as dependent on Google Drive files or tasks from other projects, attach files from Google Drive to project tasks or move them between projects using drag-and-drop function.
