It helps you to create and manage your events and sell tickets online. It also helps you to be notified about the events you have created.

SendGrid?

SendGrid is a cloud application that enables users to send emails from anywhere in the world. It offers a simple way to send emails from an application. To use it, the user only needs to enter the email address of the receiver and write a message. SendGrid formats the text and puts it in the body of the email, so it does not have to worry about formatting the message or attachments. The user can also choose how many times a message will be sent until it reaches its destination, among other things.

Integration of Agendor and SendGrid

In this section, we will explain how Agendor and SendGrid can be integrated. In addition, we will explain the benefits of integrating both applications.

How do they integrate?

To integrate Agendor and SendGrid, there are two options. by using webhooks or by using a Zapier integration.

First option. webhooks

Webhooks allow us to make requests from one application to another without needing an integration between both applications because they do not use APIs. To do this, we need a type of URL called a hook URL, which is like an HTTP server that receives requests when something happens in the application. Although this is an easy way to integrate applications, it has some disadvantages. you can only send information to one application; you cannot make more than one request; if you want to integrate with more than one application, you must create a different URL for each of them; the flow of information is managed by the application that sends it (if it fails, then no message is sent); you do not know when the flow will be executed; the content is sent without any contrp; and it is easier to get hacked. With this type of integration, we can send data to an application or receive data sent by an application, depending on what we need.

To create this type of integration, we must fplow some steps:

  • Go to Zapier and select Agendor as one of the apps. Then select SendGrid as the second app.
  • On Zapier, go to Find Triggers and select Webhooks for Agendor as the event that triggers the integration. Do the same for SendGrid. This will give you information about how to configure each app.
  • On Zapier, select Create Action for SendGrid instead of Find Triggers. Now you can choose which action to create for sending data from SendGrid to Agendor. For example, you can create an action that sends sales data from SendGrid to Agendor every time a sale occurs in SendGrid’s system. You can also create an action that sends all sales data from SendGrid to Agendor every 30 minutes, every hour or every day. It’s up to you which action you want to create!

Second option. Zapier integration

The second option is to use Zapier’s integration with Agendor and SendGrid. With this type of integration, you can choose which data you want to send from Agendor to SendGrid and vice versa. With Zapier’s integration, you can combine Agendor with any other application in Zapier with just a few steps! You can integrate with any application in Zapier in just a few steps!
