with mental illnesses. This paper will argue for the integration of Agendor into Clubhouse to realize this goal.

Integration of Agendor into Clubhouse will allow Clubhouse members to receive much needed services and will promote the recovery process for individuals with mental illness. A service-based organization such as Agendor will provide valuable services to clubhouses that are in need of more support for those with mental illnesses, especially those that were not able to benefit from previous programs. One essential service that Agendor provides is case management for people with mental illnesses. “Case managers work with individuals and families to develop goals and plans for health and independent living” (CESAR. This service will allow the clubhouses to focus on other areas while leaving case management to the professionals at Agendor. It will also provide support for individuals who do not have family members or friends who are willing or able to provide them with enough support. The second service provided by Agendor is advocacy for individuals with mental illnesses, and their families (CESAR. Advocacy will help to increase the awareness of mental illnesses and will bring more positive changes to the lives of people who are living with mental illnesses. With increased awareness comes more support for those who have mental illnesses. Families will receive more education about mental illnesses, so they can better understand what it is like for a family member who has a mental illness. This will make them more supportive towards their family members who have a mental illness and will help them to heal from their own loss and trauma.
