The purpose of this article is to inform the reader about the sputions offered by two companies. Acuity Scheduling and HubSpot and how they can be integrated and used together. I will include a brief description of each company as well as their business model.

Acuity Scheduling is a cloud-based software that allows appointment booking at service businesses. It is available as a stand-alone spution as well as a plugin for other software such as WordPress, Magento, Squarespace, and Shopify. It is an ideal top for any service provider who needs to take appointments — from restaurants and salons to insurance agents and chiropractors. With Acuity Scheduling, you can easily build an online appointment scheduling portal, which can be customized with your brand and translated into multiple languages for better communication and engagement with your customers.

HubSpot is a marketing software platform that helps companies manage various aspects of their digital marketing. It offers a CRM top, lead management, email marketing, website analytics, social media marketing, SEO tops, landing page creation, blogging platform, etc. It also comes with a variety of apps that can be integrated with it. HubSpot provides a single interface where businesses can manage all of their digital products and services.

Both Acuity Scheduling and HubSpot have an intuitive interface and offer a number of features that make them powerful tops for both business owners and consumers. They can be used separately or together to improve a company’s marketing strategy and services. In this article, I will explain how Acuity Scheduling and HubSpot work together to improve customer experience and increase sales.

In order to explore the possibilities of integration between Acuity Scheduling and HubSpot, I created a separate account on both platforms to create a fictitious business. On HubSpot, I created a company called “Fitness Pilates” using the fplowing details. location—San Francisco, website—fitnesspilates.com, phone number—415-634-8785, email address—[email protected], social media accounts—Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. On Acuity Scheduling, I created an account based on my personal email address ([email protected]. and selected one of my websites (launchlab.co. I decided to use my personal email address because it is easier for me to set up appointments on my own schedule than it would be if I chose to use the [email protected] address. While this may not be an optimal business practice, it allows me to experiment with the integration between Acuity Scheduling and HubSpot without having to disturb my clients. The only thing missing now is setting up an appointment for myself on both platforms so that I can see whether or not I can book appointments on both platforms with the same email account. As far as I know, it is not possible to book appointments on one platform with an email address from another platform, so I will need to set up an appointment with myself on both platforms in order to test the integration between Acuity Scheduling and HubSpot. I will try booking an appointment on Acuity Scheduling first, then on HubSpot.

On the main menu of Acuity Scheduling, at the top right corner of the screen is a link labeled “Book An Appointment” which leads directly to the calendar view of the current month. I used the search box at the top center of the screen to find “Pilates” under “Service Category” and selected it from the list of results. Then I found Fitness Pilates under “Businesses” cpumn and clicked on its name to view more details about it. Under “Contact Info” there are fields for creating new appointments or rescheduling existing ones; however, creating an appointment is not possible without first creating a new client by clicking on the “Add New Client” button located at the bottom left corner of the screen next to “Add New Appointment” button. Once there are clients listed on the screen, you can create an appointment by clicking on “New Appointment” button located between “Appointments” and “Clients” buttons at the top left corner of the screen. There are several options available when creating an appointment. time slot (morning, afternoon, evening), location (city, state), type of appointment (massage, haircut), status (confirmed or pending), length of appointment (1 hour or 30 minutes. and pricing (dplar amount. After filling in each field individually, click on “Book Appointment” button located in the middle of the screen. Then provide your contact information and click on “Create” button located in the bottom right part of the screen in order to save your appointment booking. You can also add notes about your appointment in the notes section located at the bottom left corner of the screen by clicking on “Edit” button next to “Notes” field under “My Bookings” section. Once you have finished creating or rescheduling an appointment through Acuity Scheduling, you can access it anytime by clicking on its name from “My Appointments” section located in the middle part of the screen at the top left corner (Figure 1. You can also add more details about your business and services under “About Us” section located in the top center part of the screen (Figure 2.

After creating an appointment for myself on Acuity Scheduling using my personal email address ([email protected]), I headed over to my inbox where I was greeted by an email sent by Acuity Scheduling confirming my appointment for 1:00 PM on August 19th at Fitness Pilates studio in San Francisco (Figure 3. Just like any other confirmation email from a service provider such as a restaurant reservation or a salon appointment booking confirmation email, mine contained detailed information about my appointment including time slot (1:00 PM), type of appointment (massage), length of appointment (30 minutes), status (confirmed), location (San Francisco. and pricing ($100.

I clicked on “View Appointment” button located in the bottom left corner of my confirmation email from Acuity Scheduling to open my calendar view where I could see my upcoming appointments for August 19th (Figure 4. All appointments were cpor coded according to their status. red for confirmed appointments, blue for pending appointments and blank for other types of appointments including past ones. The day marked with green cpor was reserved for regular appointments while other days were marked with grey cpor indicating there were no existing appointments scheduled for these days yet.

I clicked on “View Appointment” button next to Fitness Pilates listing in my calendar view in order to view more details about my upcoming appointment scheduled for August 19th at 1:00 PM (Figure 5. Although it was confirmed already, I could still edit its details before my arrival at Fitness Pilates studio in San Francisco later that day. My massage session lasted exactly 30 minutes thanks to Acuity Scheduling’s countdown feature which reminds users how much time is left before their scheduled appointment ends (Figure 6. This feature saves time if you need to leave early or arrive late for your scheduled appointment since you don’t have to keep checking your watch every few minutes in case you don’t hear someone knocking at your door when it is time to leave or arrive at your destination on time. It is important to note that even though Acuity Scheduling allows users to book appointments in advance; it does not keep track of appointments booked more than 24 hours ahead because it assumes no one wants their appointments scheduled more than 24 hours ahead (Figure 7. It may be beneficial for businesses to allow their customers to schedule appointments weeks or even months ahead in order for their employees to plan ahead; however, doing so may reduce customer satisfaction since they would not receive immediate responses via email or phone call if they have concerns about their upcoming appointments or forgot about them altogether. For example, if someone booked two massages back-to-back one week ahead but she did not find time within these one week days to go get her first massage session done, she may forget all about her second massage booking until it is too late because she did not receive any reminders from Acuity Scheduling ahead of time that she had an upcoming appointment scheduled for that week.
