In this section, I will provide you with a detailed description of the integration of 3Dcart and Drip for your convenience. Integration means that these two applications are fully integrated to increase their functionality and deployment. 3Dcart stores are built using PHP language and 3Dcart has used API to integrate with Drip.

  • In Drip, create an account and then login to it.
  • Go to the "Integrations" tab of your Drip account and click on "Add New Integration" button.
  • There are three tabs for adding new integrations. "Connectors", "Flow", and "Tags". The connectors tab is used for adding your channels like Facebook, Twitter, Google Analytics, etc. while the Flow tab is used for adding automation rules (workflows. and Tags which can be used for segmenting the leads based on their criteria.
  • Go to the Connectors tab and then click on the "Add New Connector" button under "E-Commerce".
  • Then choose 3Dcart as your store type from the drop-down menu. This will trigger a new window to open up where you will need to fill in the information about your store like URL, API Key, API Secret Key, and CART ID. Click on the blue "Save" button at the end to save your settings.
  • Now open the workflow editor by clicking on the "EDIT WORKFLOWS" link under your newly created workflow in the workflow tab of your Drip account. Here you can define the workflows for each event when orders are placed on your store.
  • To create a new workflow, click on the "+New Workflow" button. It will open up a new window where you can edit different details about your workflow like name, status, start date, end date, etc. Now you need to define a trigger event for starting this workflow. For example, you can set a trigger event as "New order".
  • Next step is defining actions or activities for this workflow. You can see that there are three different stages in this workflow named "Order before checkout", "Order on checkout", and "Order after checkout". These are the stages in which you can add activities for this workflow based on different order events. You need to determine which stage should trigger a particular activity based on the name of the stage itself. For example, if you want to remove the item price in cart when it reaches to the checkout stage then you should go to the "Order before checkout" stage and add an action here like "Remove item price from cart". This will remove item price from cart when it reaches to the checkout stage in 3Dcart. This will also reduce the cart abandonment rate as well as increase the conversion rate of your store. Also, here you can use tags for segmenting leads based on certain criteria like gender, location, etc.
  • Repeat above steps for other workflows as well and then close the workflow editor by clicking on the "X" button at the top right corner of this page.
  • In order to view these changes in you store, you need to click on the blue "Test Workflow" button under your order in workflows tab of your Drip account. If everything goes smooth then your changes will reflect in your store within next 24 hours.
  • Once this integration is complete then you will be able to use all the features of Drip in 3Dcart as well like customer segmentation based on tags like location, gender, etc., sending personalized email campaigns based on customer's past behavior, tracking customer's behavior through reports etc., These features will not only help you deliver better customer experience but they will also help you grow your business faster than ever before.
